Data is routinely compiled and analyzed to determine the successes and identify any problem areas. Staff track students' progress through their schooling and periodically provide aggregate analyses to management at the University of California, Office of the President and the California Community Colleges' Chancellors Office. Data is also periodically aggregated to mark the overall progress of current Puente students and provided to site teams and external interested constituencies. Program fact sheets are prepared and periodically updated to describe the program. Updates are currently being prepared and will be available here very soon.
"Puente students are significantly better prepared to enter college than their non-Puente peers..the program has a real impact on students' attitudes, aspirations and preparation for going to college, as well as their rate of college enrollment."
